Max Azria is Talking to me this Spring!!!

I usually show little interest in the BCBG Max Azria line, however when browsing the Editors Picks for Spring 2009, I instantly became SOLD! The shoes that are featured in the following photos as well as the lightweight romper, gold metallic jacket and the orange trench will all be a part of my wardrobe. !!Although Im sure J Crew will be producing their signature trenches in great colors again this year...hmmm IDK all I know is I MUST own the stacked pumps with the orange heel!!!(pictured) and the Ella Sandal in grey both are not yet available.

Moschino Creative Directors are over there getting busy..!! I have enjoyed these shoes first time I saw them, on the Runway some weeks back.

The art school college dropout is proving that Talent is Talent! I love Kanye's drive you can tell he is sincere and passionate about his work. His upcoming designing projects not only include Louis Vuitton, he is also working on his own label Pastelle, as well as designing the Air-Yeezy's sneakers for NIKE which to be released later this year.

Alexander Wang Shoe Collection.

I absolutely appreciate and love Alexander's vision and simplicity with such loud statements of his garments and now shoes!! Wang will debut shoe collection during New York Fashion Week next month. I cant almost wait...to see more

McQ Alexander McQueen Collection Previews

A while back I featured a post on the rumor of the McQ lower end line by Alexander McQueen launching at Target and like all other collections this is going to be huge!! McQ is not going to be apart of Go International, instead its going to set the pace for other designers to follow its movement. Here are pictures of some pieces from the collection.

Dolce&Gabbana first Beauty Collection

New to Beauty/Cosmetics Dolce and Gabbana debut first color collection with help from
the gorgeous Scarlett Johansson.

They wanted to create makeup with scent, their lipsticks will have a trademark rose scent and mascara will have a peppery olfactory note. There will be three looks to the line, “Lustful Lips,” inspired by a silver screen siren with dark ruby colored lips and nails; “Provocative Eyes,” a smoky eye and pale lip, and “Sensually Natural,” a pared-back look of neutral hues.

Celine not Showing at Fashion Week???

omgosh... If I hear about another fashion house closing its doors or not premiering collections!! Still in aw about the closing of Obedient Sons & Daughters a line I really appreciated..my alternative is to just stop saving for my Lindy bag, because chances are Hermes wont be around next week...hahaha picture that! better yet dont picture it, the thought alone saddens me deeply..

Moving on to the point and focus of the post:: The highly-anticipated Celine Fall Collection 2009 debuting Pheobe Philo as Creative Directo, is a No Go for Fashion Week...Only question that comes to mind is How is that possible with these in the Spring Collection 2009 line up??

bebe Copies Gucci and Louis Vuitton

hmm.. the New bebe Spring/Summer 2009 Shoe collection features a few stand out copied styles right from the Runway! First style that caught my eye without a doubt to be a carbon copy is the
Katrin Leather Exotic Sandal (not pictured) which is highly comparable to the Tribal Sandal from the Louis Vuitton Spring Collection 2009. Madonna wore the Tribal Sandals in recent LV campaign ads

The second stand out shoe from the bebe Collection is the Sonja Triple Buckle Sandal(not pictured) it is identical to a platform sandal from Gucci's Spring Collection 2009. Just wanted to let you in on the news as it is accessible to me, and not available to the public so don't go "Google-ing".

Barbie teams up with Christian Louboutin!

Christian Louboutin is designing special pumps in iconic Barbie Pantone 219 Pink that will be worn by all the models in a special Barbie-inspired runway show. The pumps will be Barbie pink except for the red soles, of course. The runway show from Mattel Inc. will debut during New York fashion week in February, 2009.

Fifty as-yet-undisclosed designers will produce Barbie-inspired outfits for the runway, and each of the 50 models will be wearing the pink Louboutins at the show.

"I guess I always had a little 'girlie side' who liked Barbie," Louboutin said. "Barbie needs to wear great shoes because every girl needs to wear great shoes."

Vogue.com reported Fifty designers will create life-sized outfits inspired by Barbie. Just pull out the red carpet and unveil Barbies vain ass CL's already!!

STILA Cosmetics for New Barbie Makeup Collection

Barbie is celebrating her 50th birthday this year and is entering into the fashion world- If you haven't heard Mr.Christian Louboutin himself is now designing her shoes!! So Vain!! Barbie is glamming up for new Stila color cosmetics line this spring.
Stila will also be sponsoring Mattel’s first Barbie runway show during New York Fashion Week next month with makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury as the show’s lead makeup artist.


The line will make its debut exclusively at Sephora next month and will be available at Sephora’s Fifth Avenue store in New York, international Sephora locations and at sephora.com only. Note, the collection is not limited to the US market only, they will do fashion shows around the world and distribute products globally. Japan will be one of the first international stops.

I know if Stephen were alive he would be so pleased with all of Marc efforts for this collection. I dont know about you, but im in Sprouse Mania!!!! My favorite LV collection YTD. Its so fun and risk taking as the Original Stephen Sprouse Collection,was back in 2001. Last night at Louis Vuitton flagship store in SoHo, the world renown label displayed their Stephen Sprouse Collection followed by an after party.
