Nice to finally meet my Dream shoes all made possible by my S.A. Adam over @Barneys theee best cant thank him enough.I have been craving these shoes since their debut earlier this year. With failed attempts SOLD OUT in about every color,because I wear one of the most popular sizes in womens shoes I had NO Luck.

Barbie teams up with Christian Louboutin!

Christian Louboutin is designing special pumps in iconic Barbie Pantone 219 Pink that will be worn by all the models in a special Barbie-inspired runway show. The pumps will be Barbie pink except for the red soles, of course. The runway show from Mattel Inc. will debut during New York fashion week in February, 2009.

Fifty as-yet-undisclosed designers will produce Barbie-inspired outfits for the runway, and each of the 50 models will be wearing the pink Louboutins at the show.

"I guess I always had a little 'girlie side' who liked Barbie," Louboutin said. "Barbie needs to wear great shoes because every girl needs to wear great shoes."

Vogue.com reported Fifty designers will create life-sized outfits inspired by Barbie. Just pull out the red carpet and unveil Barbies vain ass CL's already!!

Barbie is celebrating her 50th birthday this year and is entering into the fashion world- If you haven't heard Mr.Christian Louboutin himself is now designing her shoes!! So Vain!! Barbie is glamming up for new Stila color cosmetics line this spring.
Stila will also be sponsoring Mattel’s first Barbie runway show during New York Fashion Week next month with makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury as the show’s lead makeup artist.

The line will make its debut exclusively at Sephora next month and will be available at Sephora’s Fifth Avenue store in New York, international Sephora locations and at sephora.com only. Note, the collection is not limited to the US market only, they will do fashion shows around the world and distribute products globally. Japan will be one of the first international stops.

The collection will launch in its entirety at the Louis Vuitton SoHo boutique on Thursday. The complete worldwide launch will follow on Feb. 2, though the Rose pieces will be available at Louis Vuitton stores worldwide starting Friday.

For the launch, the luxury goods company is also creating two limited edition pieces, which will only be available at the SoHo location: a Stephen Sprouse graffiti skateboard replete with a hard case monogram skateboard trunk, and a Stephen Sprouse “Roses” T-shirt. The company hopes to sell three graffiti skateboards with trunks for $8,250 each, and 70 T-shirts for $250 each. “I don’t expect them to last very long,” Lalonde said. “By Friday, there probably won’t be any more left.”

"Excess is Success" Cavalli Nightclub Opens

How delightful... Grandfather Cav opened up his first nightclub in Florence over the weekend.
My first post since all of My Annual Premiere activities. No ordinary club here how about, Grandfather Cav turned a former church into the new lavish nightclub.. Which brings true meaning to my " IN CAV WE TRUST".. I love IT!!

Roberto Cavalli aka (Grandfather Cav) chose a 15th-century deconsecrated church in Florence as the location for his first club, which was unveiled Saturday with a party attended by guests such as Gerri Halliwell my favorite Spice Girl and Asia Argento.

The Florence club is only the first step for the designer, however, as others are set to open in Dubai at the end of January, and in Milan in February. In Dubai, the designer will sell Cavalli Club merchandise — from lamps and cutlery, to china and glassware. In an interview at his sprawling apartment in Milan, Cavalli said the project is a prelude to his return to a namesake home collection.

“I feel I helped recover a real jewel,” said Cavalli of the church that lodges the club and is located near the 13th-century Basilica di Santa Maria del Carmine, adorned with Renaissance masterpieces by artists such as Masaccio and Masolino. The church was in need of restoration, and Cavalli said he invested 3 million euros, or $4 million at current exchange rates, in the project. Given Italy’s strict regulations to protect national artworks, the club uses the building’s original structure without altering it.

Cavalli, with the help of longtime collaborator architect Italo Rota, took advantage of the high ceilings and vaults and added an additional level to the church. A lounge bar is located on the ground floor; a stage with a piano is placed in a niche where the altar used to be, and a 50-seat restaurant is on the upper floor. Cavalli opted to reproduce the concept of his stores on the site, and completed the decor with an allegory of nature: a mirrored steel ceiling; steel leaves decorating the columns; gold details; a huge twisting steel snake on the side of the bar; an aquarium; an oversize shell on one wall, and seats upholstered with animal prints are some of the main elements.

“I know Florentines will criticize this decor because it’s hard for them to get used to mixing modernity and tradition, and it would certainly have been easier to go with classic Florentine designs, but I wanted to convey my own style,” said Cavalli. “I like the juxtaposition of innovation and restoration. There is harmony in blending present and past, and I think this is an avant-garde locale that was missing in Florence.”

The city will also be represented in Dubai’s Club, with giant photos of Florence reproduced on curtains that separate different areas, such as the sushi bar, the Italian restaurant or the VIP room. The Dubai venue — which will have “a huge stairway,” plenty of glittering Swarovski crystals, a red carpet and Cavalli-clad female ushers — will cost the designer’s local partner $20 million.

“Excess is success,” said Cavalli.

As reported earlier this year, the designer has teamed up with Pragma Group, based in the United Arab Emirates, which is a leading investment, outsourcing and business incubator with an expansive portfolio of international companies in technology, telecommunications, marketing, hospitality, entertainment and venture capital. Cavalli said he was “not worried” about Dubai’s economy, although he conceded “it’s slowing down, and the city of Abu Dhabi is picking up.”

The designer is also working on renovating Milan’s former Just Cavalli Café and turning it into a Club. “This is such a special location, next to the Triennale Museum, under a tower designed by Gio Ponti,” he said. “I’m looking for a unique space in New York, too.”

Cavalli underscored that his clubs are not members only and that they are an extension of his lifestyle concept. “The idea is to let others into my world,” he said.

My anticipation and crave for the new Louis Vuitton/Stephen Sprouse collection is serious. The two designers MJ for LV and the late Stephen Sprouse designed the original Graffiti collection in 2001, the new Neon Graffiti Collection which I love love love will be available 2009..This collection is in honor of designer/artist Stephen Sprouse who died in 2004.

Would you look at that.... I knew that my eyes were NOT deceiving me when watching the AMA's on Sunday... while watching the celebs on the red carpet I thought I saw a Louis Vuitton Graffiti bag, then it was suddenly gone. So I figured I was just hallucinating an image of the purse, because I love the Stephen Sprouse limited edition Graffiti bags by LV so much. But to my surprise I was right!!! and I now have working knowledge that my eyes do function properly without my specs!

I feel when designers create these more affordable lines its like " Who is your Target Market"???? because now Im confused.. Your original line features pieces that price well over $1000 for a dress, then suddenly your lesser more affordable line can retail a blouse for $49.99.
Williamson will start with an exclusive Women’s line at selected stores April 23,2009, Following with Men’s and Women’s 'ready for wear' Summer Collection available mid-May in all H&M stores worldwide. Also exclusively for H&M, Williamson is debuting his first ever menswear pieces at the stores. hmmm... Debut your never before seen Menswear collection for H&M before it hits the Runway??

Omgosh this post is really titled "FCUK LOVE part deur". This post stems from a blog post titled "FCUK LOVE" on my personal Myspace page. Could this collection have me at "Hello"... well lets go in... For sometime now Makeup Art Cosmetics has been my second favorite cosmetics line. I enjoy a wide array of their products and brushes. Love all of the collections, my most adored collections have been MAC dress camp and Barbie collection..Anyway moving on its been confirmed the MAC is teaming up with Hello Kitty for a winter collection of make-up and random accessories including key chains, bracelets and tote bags.

When I first read this article,I had mixed feelings on the changes soon to be made within the fashion industry. Not so sure this is going to be a turn for the worse, but something has me really sketchy about this Transition.

For the first time in recent memory, luxury-goods makers are cutting prices on designer apparel, shoes and handbags in the U.S. market.

With even the biggest spenders starting to scrimp, luxury companies from Chanel S.A. to Versace SpA, Christian Louboutin and Chloé are reversing the industry's maxim that luxury prices only move up. The cuts range from 8% to 10% on most products sold in the U.S. But the move isn't likely to dent the profit margins of most European fashion houses because the value of the dollar has increased 28% against the euro since April. Luxury-goods companies don't disclose margins for their individual brands, but Louis Vuitton, one of the world's most profitable labels, is estimated to have a margin of 45 cents on every dollar. In addition, brands such as Hermès, Chanel, Vuitton and Versace make most of their products in Europe, paying for their materials and labor in euros.

The strengthening of the dollar means luxury-goods companies are earning more than they had budgeted on every handbag or piece of clothing sold in dollars. Luxury-goods executives must walk a fine line when cutting prices. While $2,000 handbags and $700 stiletto heels are still expensive for most people, if prices drop precipitously, the perception of a label's value may also drop. "Never before have we done this," says Ralph Toledano, chief executive of Chloé, a division of Compagnie Financière Richemont SA, which recently lowered wholesale prices 10% on many items in its cruise and summer collections shipping to U.S. stores now. "This is an unusual time. You have to be creative at this moment."

Luxury-goods companies have been feeling the pinch as sales of high-end trinkets have slowed. Third-quarter sales at LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA, which includes the Vuitton and Fendi brands, rose 3.1%, decelerating from 5% growth in the first half. Italian jeweler Bulgari SpA on Thursday posted a 44% drop in third-quarter profit and said 2008 revenue growth would be lower than previously expected.

During the recent boom years, luxury companies often assumed that money was no object for their avid fans. French fashion house Louis Vuitton, which will hold prices steady for now, proved that consumers would buy its goods despite price increases. This year alone, the company has raised sticker prices in dollars twice for an average increase of 10% and sales have still continued to rise.

But other luxury makers have acknowledged that a ceiling exists even for exclusive goods. When French luxury-house Hermès raised yen-denominated sticker prices 50% over three years between 2004 and 2007, sales began slipping, and the brand has hardly dared to raise prices since. "We must take the market's capacity to absorb the price hikes into account," says Mireille Maury, Hermès's managing director for finance and administration. Hermès's commercial teams will decide by January whether to raise or lower prices in the U.S. and Japan, she says.

The move to cut prices began with Chanel last month. The French fashion house, known for tweed suits that can cost $8,000, decided to trim its prices by 7% to 10% on most items that are hitting U.S. stores now. "The dollar's recent strength has allowed us to pass on greater value to our customers," says John Galantic, the company's U.S. president.

Chanel's move emboldened retailers to persuade other design firms such as Dolce & Gabbana, Versace and Chloé to lower their prices as well.

Arnold Aronson, managing director of retail strategies at consultancy Kurt Salmon Associates and a former CEO of Saks Fifth Avenue, describes the situation as "a Pyrrhic victory" for retailers because it illustrates how challenging the economic environment has become. Just last week, luxury purveyor Neiman Marcus reported its same-store sales in October dropped 27% to $281 million, while sales at Saks Fifth Avenue fell 16.6% to $219 million.

On November 15th, the Victoria Secret models well,"angels" did it again.. This years Fashion Show was AMAZING... the Runway was at the multi-million dollar Fountainebleau Resort in Miami. The fashions were incredible 5 million dollar Black Diamond Fantasy Miracle Bra worn by Adrianna Lima and designed by jeweler Martin Katz. The show airs on December 3rd one day after the release of Britney new album 'Circus'... 2 days before (XII V) my Annual Premiere in other words my birthday!!...and 6 days before the release of Brandy's new album 'Human'.... Oh how wonderful is the month of December for the Living!!!!!

As if I didnt jus t do a similiar post,,,,, omgosh like I've previously stated this place "Target is massive" and I mean every bit of 'mass' when I say that. Okay so there have been rumors about this possibility flying around for months, but nobody ever had a confirmation. But the rumors are TRUE Alexander McQueen is creating a line for Target.It will NOT be a part of the Go International program, which was created to showcase emerging designers.Since Alexander McQueen who needs no introduction is well emerged, hes launching a new Target program in March 2009 called 'Designer Initiative', which has more names lined up for the future already.hmm Cant wait for these names to start dropping.

The line will be done under the designer's less expensive McQ label, and will be called McQ Alexander McQueen for Target.The collection will have rock 'n' roll influences and edgy details such as studs and tattoo-print fabrics. {not so confident about the Tattoo Prints..}
No exact début date thus far,and little information other than that it is a one-off project for McQueen and will be available only for a limited time.

And again I have mixed feelings on high end designers going 'bargain-esque' but hey Im "SOLD"
my advisory to all; is the next time your at your local Target pick up a sleeping bag....camping essentails... and Olay Regenerist because your going to need it! Start forming lines now because when I say this is going to be huge I mean every bit of huge. Trust Me! See you at the Checkout.

As announced in April, socialite Nicole Richie has designed a line of jewelery called House of Harlow 1960 (named after her baby girl) which is now available in stores and online. The line of boho detailed rings, bangles, cuffs and earrings range in price from $32 to $150.Making them an affordable way to inject into your personal style. This collection is said to be inspired by Nicole's love for the 60's and 70's. Not yet sure how I feel about this line,its still in a box inside my head of thoughts alongside the Lauren Conrad Collection. However I do appreciate the statement ring Nicole is wearing pictured in the ad below. As you know bold statement jewelry is in this season.

Thakoon for Target

First Halle Berry and her Target publicity and now Thakoon for Target. Target is massive right now {laughs...} I could get used to this place people.. Anyway, in October Target announced that Thakoon is creating a line for the budget retailer to be released Christmas Day 2008. Yowza! I wont mind receiving a gift the day after. I love and respect Thakoon Panichgul. I remember when he was an editior for one of my favorite magazines Harpers BAZAAR.Thakoon Panichgul told WWD that “[Target was] very easy to work with. They wanted a lot of prints, and I chose silhouettes that have done well in the past.” I saw a sneak peak of the collection I thought hmm... not so much apparel for Winter although I love all the prints but they're more so for Spring/Summer.

I honestly do not appreciate when powerful fashion houses create these more affordable lines it kind of seems contradictive to me. Your original line features pieces that price well over $1000 for a blouse, then suddenly your lesser more affordable line can retail a dress for $49.99,just seems weird like my question is..." Who is your Target Market"???? because now Im confused..
But yet again I find myself "SOLD" when really I should be saving for my 'Kelly' bag sheeesh Oh Well..!! And my advisory to other consumers::Please if you purchase these fabulous threads on Christmas day; do me the favor of saving these garments for about April May. These loud prints are just NOT for winter scenery.. Thanks

Some months ago I heard about the launch of this new line from the Louis Vuitton Damier collection "Neverfull". I was kinda excited, but terrified as well knowing that I would now have to see more knock-off Damier Canvas... ugh I absolutely despise fake things; which arrives me to a post I will feature later today about knock-off/replicas.

Anyway back to the post Topic.... Damier Neverfull ahhh yes, its made from Damier Canvas the differences are Neverfull has red microfiber inside lining that depicts the legendary Louis Vuitton Articles de Voyage logo that echoes the very first travel items of the House. Neverfull also features no vachetta.

The bag that has my eye from this collection is Neverfull GM.. get ideas people (XII V)
is approaching. = )

So there is this new show 'Stylista' which is executively produced by Tyra Banks, I enjoy watching on Wednesdays following ANTM. American socialite turned Designer Tory Burch guest starred on tonights episode. Tory wore a 'Perfect for Spring' look in my opinion from Tory Burch Resort Collection 2009. Wow what a feeling to look inside your garment and see your name wearing the Label.

The anticipation for Circus is hugh! With Britney saying herself during recent Z100 interview she will be launching a Worldwide tour for 'Circus'....omgosh my money is just as good as in Brits pocket right now. I am so "SOLD" cant wait to see her live in concert,not to mention December 2nd at GMA....

When I first saw this dress on the runway I absolutely loved it! But not so much the modified version worn by Michelle Obama. I just think the Runway version was much sexier and feminine from the low neckline to the sheer straps, unlike the scoop neck and black solid bottom style dress Michelle chose to wear paired black cardigan.
